| ~"The next morning, Steven and I ate
breakfast with Lisa and David Weiss; two of
our Angel Therapy staff members. We'd
enjoyed swimming with them in the ocean the
day before, and Lisa had intrigued me with a
comment she'd made about incarnated
merpeople. I'd written about mermaids who
took on human form in my books Healing with
the Fairies, Earth Angels, and Angel
Medicine, yet I felt that there was much
more I wanted to say. So, I'd created a
formal survey and conducted interviews to
find more information about merpeople.
Lisa, who sports long, flowing red hair;
green eyes; and a genuine smile, told me
that her interest in the topic started when
she worked with marine animals during her
college days: I had recurring dreams about
people being able to swim underwater without
coming up for air, she said. Then I had a
lucid dream about digging in the dirt. I
found a shroud in the dirt that reminded me
of the Shroud of Turin, except the image was
of a dolphin glowing with a neon-blue
outline. I heard a high-pitched tone emit
from the dolphin image, followed by
thousands of nondescript voices that seemed
to be downloading information to me.
"Then the dolphin in the shroud came
alive, and it told me, We lived on land at
one time. We were one with the humans. The
dolphin told me that his species was once
humanlike when they'd walked on the earth.
They shape-shifted and moved into the ocean
after humans began misusing their power and
abusing the environment. The dolphins
believed that if they got away from humans
and lived on their own in the ocean, they
could wait until that time when humans
became more peaceful and environmentally
conscious. Then the dolphin looked at me and
clearly said, Now it's time, so we're coming
back to take over the world."
That was in 1988, a time when Lisa hadn't
read any New Age books, had no knowledge of
Atlantis, and her understanding of dolphins
was very left-brained. So the dream
frightened her, which led her to do
metaphysical research. "Now I have a very
positive outlook on the dream's meaning,
Lisa explained, "and since that time, I've
received so many signs that point to the
return of the dolphins." She tapped her left
cheek and said, "This is one of the signs."
There, on Lisa's cheek, was a perfect purple
image of a jumping dolphin imbedded in her
skin. It wasn't a birthmark or tattoo ¬this
was like a "wine stain" in a very precise
shape. "It appeared on my face immediately
following my dolphin dream," she explained.
As part of her research, Lisa had a
past-life regression. When the
hypnotherapist took me through a gate into
my past life, I fell into water. The
hypnotherapist asked me to look
 down at my
feet and describe the type of shoes I was
wearing. Well, I didn't have feet - I had
dolphin fins!" Lisa tried two more
regressions, with the same results.
Another time, a psychic who knew nothing
of Lisa's dream or past-life reading told
her, "You were a dolphin in your past life.
